🧡 Non-Profit · Founded 2025

Built with love.
For Odia youth, everywhere.

Tokatoki is a non-profit platform created to celebrate, connect, and empower the global Odia community — from Bhubaneswar to Brooklyn, Puri to Paris.

"Every Odia boy and girl deserves a platform that speaks their language, celebrates their roots, and amplifies their voice — no matter where in the world they are."

Tokatoki was born from a simple observation: the Odia diaspora is one of the most educated, creative, and globally scattered communities in the world — yet there was no single place that truly celebrated their identity. No platform for their stories. No home for their art. No space that felt like theirs.

As a registered non-profit venture, Tokatoki will never sell your data, never put ads above community, and will always remain free at its core. Every feature we build exists to serve the community — not shareholders.

Ayaskant (AK) Sahu
Co-Founder & CEO

AK is the founder and CEO of Bravent, a technology company based in the United States focused on building innovative digital products. A proud Odia from the heart of Odisha, AK has spent over a decade navigating the intersection of technology, business, and culture across the US.

The idea for Tokatoki came from years of living in the diaspora — watching fellow Odia professionals, artists, and students struggle to find community and celebrate their heritage. AK launched Tokatoki as a purely non-profit mission: to build the platform he wished had existed when he first moved abroad.

"We don't need permission to be proud of who we are. We just need a place to do it together."

Co-Founder & Chief Community Officer

Susmita is the heart of Tokatoki's community vision. With a deep love for Odia culture, language, and the arts, she leads the platform's community strategy — ensuring that Tokatoki always feels like a warm, safe space for every Odia young person to express themselves authentically.

Susmita is passionate about preserving Odia heritage — from the stories that grandmothers tell, to the festivals that diaspora families recreate in living rooms across the world. She believes that culture is not a relic of the past, but the DNA of who we'll become.

"Home is not a place. It's a language. It's a smell. It's the way your mother calls your name."
